President Trump bashes the New York Times coverage on matters related to the pandemic coronavirus. The article says that the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), Alex Azar, had repeatedly warned President Trump. Subsequently, the warning was about the possible outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus. Further, the New York Times mentions that the warning was given to the President before several weeks of taking action.

Trump’s statements over the New York Times report

Trump posts a tweet claiming that the report is ‘fake news’. Further, calling the New York Times publishers as fake, as well. Also, he clarifies that Secretary Azar had told him nothing beforehand, in contrast to the report.

Moreover, he states that this the same newspaper that criticized him for issuing a ban on China. Lastly, he says that the claim of the reports is just the same as their criticism of the decision on China Ban, and calls it ‘fake news.’

Previously, President Trump was also lashing at Chris Wallace, an anchor of Fox News, on Twitter. In his tweet, he refers to Chris Wallace as a ‘Mike Wallace wannabe.’ And, then hours later, he criticizes the New York times publishers for their coverage on the pandemic coronavirus.
