Outer Banks Season 2

Outer Banks Season 2: The Pragues Are Coming Again Soon

The soapy teen drama Outer Banks on Netflix left us longing for more. The sun-drenched, fictional romance left us all craving for such tanning vacations, especially after spending more than a year in pandemic-induced quarantine. More than anything, the series’ wild last episodes left us all on a cliffhanger, longing for Outer Banks season 2 to arrive soon.

Luckily for us, Netflix recently announced that Outer Banks season 2 would be coming on the streaming giant during the summers.

We are already aware that Outer Banks revolves around the warfare between the elite ‘Kooks’ and working-class ‘Pogues’ in the Outer Banks region of North Carolina. As the protagonist John B explains during the trailer, it’s about two tribes on one island. With the show’s center still lying around the hunt for $400 million on the sunken ship abroad, let’s see what the upcoming Outer Banks season 2 holds for us!

Outer Banks Season 2 Release Date

We got some good news for all the OB fans out there, Netflix has finally revealed the release date for the series’s second season, and it is July 30, 2021. So, hold your horses and get ready to embark on a whole new sun-kissed adventure with the Pogues.

Last year on July 24, after three months of the series premiere on the platform, Netflix’s announcement for a season 2 left the fans lingering for more. The shooting finally wrapped up on April 5, 2021, as revealed from the cast members’ emotional IG posts. We can’t wait to see the complete show.

How Many Episodes Will Be There in Season 2?

Even though Netflix has been really secretive about the drama’s plot, luckily, they dropped the number of episodes along with their titles on their Twitter handle. And they are:

Outer Banks Season 2

  • First Episode – The Gold
  • Second Episode – The Heist
  • Third Episode – Players
  • Fourth Episode– Homecoming
  • Fifth Episode – The Darkest Hour
  • Sixth Episode – My Druthers
  • Seventh Episode – The Bonfire
  • Eighth Episode – The Cross
  • Ninth Episode – Trapped
  • Tenth Episode – The Coastal Venture

Outer Banks Season 2: Plot

There will be ten episodes this time, too, just like the previous season and from their names. We can expect to see the continuation of the last struggle that John B and Sarah go through to bring back the gold her dad ‘Ward’ stole.

We are hoping to see the return of John B and Sarah during the 4th episode, ‘Homecoming.’ As you’re well aware that everyone thinks they both are dead, their reunion with the rest of the Pogue gang is going to be worth watching.

It’s difficult to predict how the story will unravel this time, but we know for sure that there’s going to be a war between Ward, the Kooks, and The Pogues. But how that war will end will definitely reveal the course of this season.

Moreover, from the recent clips released by Netflix on May 14, we can expect to see some steamy romance between John B and Sarah. Likewise, the last-minute kiss between Kiara and Pope left us also wondering about the status of Kiara and JJ’s romance.

The clips also show classroom scenes which means that our Pogues will get time to study this season.

With these predictions in our hands, let’s wait for July 30 to see what actually happens in Outer Banks season 2.
