What will Maid season 2 be about?
As Alex’s story concludes, Season 1 ends on a solid note. Because of leaving her abusive boyfriend Sean (Nick Robinson) for the second time.
Alex moves to Missoula, Montana, to study creative writing at her dream school.
Although she gets permission to take Maddy with the help of a powerful lawyer, referred to by her housecleaning client Regina. Alex and her mother arrive in Missoula and hike up the M mountain near her new campus at the end of the season.
It ends at the same point in Land’s own story when she and her daughter move to Montana and begin studying there. Despite the end of the source material, another season could continue Alex’s story in Montana. Where she plans to open her own house clean’ing business while attending college. We could see Alex and Maddy interact with mostly new characters and Sean and Alex’s parents, Paula (Andie McDowell) and Hank (Billy Burke).
What the actors and crew are saying about Maid season 2
Molly Smith Metzler, the show’s creator, and showrunner tells Decider. She’s up for a second season as she loves writing about the characters. All the characters in this show are fascinating to me, and I could write about Alex forever. She’s just in my heart. But her story is something that we tell, so I’m not sure how that would look.”
Metzler also said the show could be turned into an anthology series. With a completely new cast and another domestic worker as the main character. “I believe there are many maids out there, there are many domestic workers who suffer from similar situations to Stephanie Land’s,” she said. “I believe it would be very entertaining and exciting to get to see the maid’s story from different geography. And with a different life experience in another season.”
