Tensura movie, also known as ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ just got its very own visual trailer for its first movie! Along with the trailer the studio has also released major details regarding the upcoming film. So, when will Tensura release? And will it be available outside of Japan?
The light novel by Fuse got developed into an anime some time ago. And now the franchise has proved to be so successful that it is even getting a full movie. As we are almost near its premiere the character designs for Tensura are also out! The biggest concern of fans is that will the main characters return in the movie? Well of course Rimuru is bound to return in the movie and alongside him you can also expect the key characters to feature in Tensura movie. Many are suspecting that the storyline will revolve in the timeline after Rimuru successfully got transformed into a Demon Lord. And according to some insiders it will be set in a completely new location known as Raja.

Release Date
The confirmation news regarding the movie came shortly after the release of the second season of the anime. Fans were expecting a third season but now they’re getting a movie. Which is disappointing to some but it is better than getting the show canceled!
Studio 8bit or any other official authorities concerned with the production of the movie have not let out the premier date for it yet. However, we know that the Tensura movie will come out somewhere in November of 2022. Which means that we are still far away from it. The teaser for it has already been released which means that we’ll be getting a lot of promotional footage in between too. For now all that we have is the character design.

If we talk about the English dubbed version, typically it will take longer for that version of the movie to be released. The original movie is supposed to premiere in November which means that most likely Tensura movie (English version) will release in early 2023.
Cast
For the movie Tempest, Rimuru will yet again be the titular role in the voice of Miho Okasaki. Rimuru is a strange but powerful slime who got reincarnated into a different world upon his special requests. Alongside Rimuru, Tempest Veldora will also be there in the Tensura movie. Tomoaki Maeno is popular for lending the character his voice. Veldora is the Storm Dragon and also happens to be one of the very first few friends of Rimuru.

Confirmation regarding the dubbing voices are not out yet. However don’t expect the Japanese dubbing team to change but there can be certain changes in the English dub version list. Plot
For the time being the studio has not spoken up about the plot of Tensura. But of course the story will be told in continuity. The second season of the anime concluded perfectly with the intense fight between Rimuru and Clayman. This changed the trajectory of Rimuru’s life because now he’s the Demon Lord who has to plan on how to make amends with the adjacent kingdoms. This task is vital for peace in the region.
Most likely this will make the core plot of Tensura. We are still waiting for the plot synopsis which must be just around the corner!
