Uncoupled Cast Members
The official cast list for uncoupled season 1 is here. Back in August 2021, it was confirmed that Patrick Harris will take on the role of Michael, the lead for the rom-com.

Tisha Campbell will take on the role of Suzanne Prentiss, a real estate agent as well as Michael’s business partner and friend. Then there’s Tuc Watkins playing the role of Colin McKenna, Michael’s ex, who also happens to be a successful businessman.
Marcia Gay Harden will take on the role of Claire Lewis, who happens to be an elegant and wealthy art collector in the show. She will also be seen divorcing her husband. So clearly, there’s going to be more than one serious relationship ending in the Netflix show.
Emerson Brooks and Brooks Ashmanskans will play as Billy Jackson and Stanley James, respectively. Both of them are Michael’s close friends.
Uncoupled Plot
The light-hearted comedy series will feature Michael, a man in his 40s who entered the world of dating after his husband of 17 years blindsides him and leaves him all alone. Within a couple of hours, everything in Michael’s life turns upside down as he faces his two nightmares together, i.e., losing his soulmate and finding himself in a difficult situation as a single gay man in his mid-40s in New York City. Hop on this journey with him as he rediscovers himself and goes out on dates trying to find the love of his life.
Darren Star has spoken about the storyline of his new tv show on the streaming giant, saying:
“I think we’ve all had breakups, and it’s about a breakup. It’s about a gay man who’s [in his] late 40s, who’s single in New York — and it’s an experience that I can relate to and know a lot of people that have gone through it.”
He has also said that his latest project will be much more mature than his previous works. So fans of his work, be prepared to be vowed.
