So, even though Prime has not yet confirmed the sequel, we are hopeful of getting one! Consequently, there is no official release date for The Terminal List Season 2. But considering that the filming begins in 2022, expect it to premiere in 2023. And who knows, they might have filmed both seasons back to back. But these are just speculations. There is no official cast lineup for The Terminal List Season 2, but given the finale of the first season, we are expecting the core cast members to return. However, if you’ve already watched the show, you must be aware that the majority of the cast members are already dead! The credit goes to Reece. Hence the remaining alive ones should return in the sequel.
Of course, Chriss Patt will reprise his main role of Ex-Navy SEAL James Reece. As mentioned earlier, the actor showed interest in featuring in the second season. Along with him, we are also expecting to see Constance Wu as Katie Buranek. There are many theories regarding Taylor Kitsch’s character; we saw that Reece killed him after the betrayal. But we did not get to see him die entirely. So, there is a chance that he might return in the second season. Tyner Rushing’s Liz Riley, JD Pardo’s Tony Layun, and Christina Vidal’s Mac Wilson will also most likely star in The Terminal List Season 2.
According to the original novels, Reece has a lot of friends who accompany him in his tedious task. So, there will definitely be new characters in the upcoming season. If the second season follows the story closely, then we will get to see one major new addition, Mohammad Mo Farooq. He is the main villain in ‘True Believer’. Now it remains to be seen which actor will be hired to play him. However, we are not sure whether he will be the main antagonist because it depends on the showrunners which novel they are planning on following.

What is the Storyline for the Sequel of The Terminal List?
Reece went through a lot in the first season. Not only because he was diagnosed with a chronic illness but also because he lost his family. So, it seems unlikely that he’ll get proper treatment for his tumor. So, is this the end of Reece? As there is no plot synopsis for the second season of The Terminal List, all that we can do for now is analyze what happened in the books. Considering that the showrunners decide to follow ‘True Believer’ then the plot will be something as follows.
In the original book, the government recruits Reece to combat the real threat. All his past actions in The Terminal List have to be ignored because, like it or not, they need him! There are a series of terrorist attacks, and no one is as qualified as Reece to participate in this battle confidently. So, we will get to see Reece back in action once again.
David DiGilio has himself shown interest in True Believer. According to him, it will make a perfect plot. Our fingers are crossed for the future!

True Believer is a savage book. Absolutely phenomenal story. The beginning a bit slow but hits high gear and doesnt slow down till the end. I hope they dont vary from the show too much. I enjoyed some of the differences in the show from the book but some were a little disappointing. All in all the theme was there.
