Chicago PD Season 10 Premiere Date
The official release date for Chicago PD Season 10 is here! The show will return to everyone’s screens on September 21, 2022, on Wednesday. Not only this but the time for the show’s premiere has also been announced. So, the tenth season will air its first episode at 10 pm ET/PT in the US. Moreover, new episodes will air weekly every Wednesday after Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
We do not have a release date for the UK yet. But if we get any updates regarding it, we’ll let you know!
Chicago PD Season 10 Plot
The official plot for the upcoming season isn’t here. Nonetheless, the show’s general synopsis is available and reads as:
“Chicago P.D. is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city’s most heinous offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders, and beyond.”
Besides revolving around this general synopsis, the season will answer some of the key questions that have been present in the minds of viewers since they watched the finale of season 9. The new episodes will show Voight learning to live without Anna and overcome her death. Viewers will get to see how Voight and Upton’s relationship changes since Upton was the one who shot Anna. Additionally, they will also get to see Atwater and Celeste’s relationship evolve as Atwater tries to win her back. The season will surely feature many ups and downs in the characters’ lives, and we can’t wait to get more intel and share it with you.
Where can I watch?
New episodes of the latest season will premiere on NBC. And then, the very next day, the same episodes will be available for streaming on Peacock. Moreover, since NBC is a cable network, you don’t need to have it. So, you can watch these episodes on other services such as Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, or Fubo TV.
Filming for the new season will begin soon, especially now that Tracy Spiridakos is back in Chicago and she’s all geared up to begin working. The cameras are expected to begin rolling sometime this week, and this is why we do not have a trailer for the tenth season yet. Additionally, the trailer will premiere once filming is completed and the season is in its post-production phase. Hence viewers can expect to see the season 10 trailer in early September, just a few days before the actual season will begin airing new episodes.
Finally, now that everyone is done enjoying their vacations and is returning to the windy city of Chicago for filming, we’ll probably be getting more updates about Chicago PD season 10. So stay tuned, and if we find out anything new, we’ll let you know.
