As we saw, both show seasons focused on real-life cases in Delhi. The issues were not related to each other hence the cast was also different. But there is one problem in this theory. Vartika got transferred outside of Delhi. And if you are an avid watcher of the show you must be aware of the fact that it solely focuses on crimes that took place in Delhi. This could limit her involvement in the third season. There is no doubt that the sequel was a massive hit because of her. So, who knows, maybe the series creator will work on bringing her back into the story. But these are just speculations for now.
