The God of Highschool Season 2 Has A Release Date Or Cancelled?

After the soaring popularity of the manga and the show’s first season, fans are curious to know about the renewal of The God of Highschool Season 2. And we do not blame them! The franchise comprises games, light novels, manga, and anime and has garnered tons of attention. Since its first introduction in 2011, the series has become a well-known and reasonably well-contender.

The God of Highschool Season 2 Release Date

For now, the production company Crunchyroll has not announced the renewal of The God of Highschool Season 2. However, this will only last for a while. Considering the popularity of the manga, a renewal announcement will likely be released around 2023.

Additionally, the first season was a massive hit among anime fans and brought in a lot of profits for the production company Crunchyroll. Their original manga series is also an enormous triumph, for it was the first-ever webtoon translated into English under Naver. This resulted in a solid fanbase all across the globe. The manga’s popularity is almost undeniable and grants it merit to bring forth an additional season. There is also a lot from the original webtoon series released in 2011 that the anime still has yet to unravel and adapt. This makes it much more likely to have a second season.

Its success and the leftover material from the manga make it a perfect candidate for a renewal of an anime season two.

    The God of Highschool Plot

The series’s protagonist, Jin Mo Ri, is a seventeen-year-old invited to join a martial arts competition called the God Of Highschool, or GOH for short. The event brings together students well-versed in martial arts from high schools across South Korea. The matches go from the regional to the national level, eventually going forth to compete in the world tournament, where there will be three representatives from each country. As for the winning prize, the winner gets a wish granted by the shady corporation sponsoring the competitions.

Fascinated by this, Jin Mor Ri decides to participate in the competition, where he meets Dae Wi and Mi Ra, who compete against him and quickly makes friends. Later on, they also become a whole team as they qualify to tie preliminary rounds. Like them, many individuals from different backgrounds and places form groups to try and triumph over the tournament. Along with the peculiar wish, the players competing in the game can also use “Borrowed Powers,” that is, powers borrowed from deities, demons, mythical creatures, and gods to win the competition.

The God of Highschool Season 2 Trailer

Because there is no announcement regarding The God of Highschool season 2, it, unfortunately, has no trailer too. Even so, there will still be one in the future though. While there is no news on a second season, the fans can still indulge in other franchise works. The fans can read the light novel published by Naver Novels which has two volumes. Moreover, if that is different from their taste, they can enjoy playing the smartphone games developed by developers under the franchise. They can also switch to reading the original manga from which the anime has been adapted.

National Treasure: Edge of History Release Date

National Treasure: Edge of History will be released on Disney+ on the 14th of December, 2022. The series’ first two episodes will be released at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. BST / 6 p.m. AEST. The following eight episodes can be expected to release every week.

    Plot of NTEoH

The plot revolves around a girl from New Orleans named Jess Valenzuela. Until now, she had no idea that her father was a significant figure protecting the treasure. After discovering her family history, she ventures on an adventure with her friends. Taking on this mission, she travels cross-country to learn more about her past and her family. Her clue to this is the historical treasure that her father told her about when she was young. The group of friends takes on this challenge as they go on a road trip to reach the treasure before their rival, Billie Pearce, does.

National Treasure: Edge of History Cast

Even though the viewers will not be seeing the iconic Nicolas Cage of the movie series National Treasure, the cast of this show will certainly not disappoint them. They can still expect to see some cameos, however, to reminisce about the original movies and make the connection between the two. Some of the cast members the viewers can be on a look out for are:

    • Lisette Olivera as Jess Valenzuela,
    • Zuri Reed as Tasha Rivers,
    • Antonio Cipriano as Oren Bradley,
    • Jordan Rodrigues as Ethan,
    • Jake Austin Walker as Liam Sadusky,
    • Catherine Zeta-Jones as Billie Pearce,
    • Lyndon Smith as FBI Agent Ross,
    • Armanda Riesco as Agent Hendricks

There will also be cameos by Harvey Keitel starring Peter Sadusky and Justin Bartha taking the role of Riley Poole. These actors will help the sequel to the original National Treasure series and movies.

National Treasure: Edge of History Trailer

The show has released a seventeen-second teaser trailer giving the fans a glimpse into what the epic series will be to them. The trailer features relics and artifacts from the previous National Treasure film. This hints that the show series will be linked back to the movie on many occasions throughout the show series. Likewise, this also means that the story in both the films and shows will be tied closely together. Hence, this is an excellent time to watch the two movies before jumping into the show. The trailer also gives us a good view of our main character Jess.

Alongside the trailer, the show makers also gave the viewers a behind-the-scenes of the show. Plus, a little chat with the stars featured in it. The footage shows us a snippet of a scene from what could be the Mexican-American War of 1846. At the forefront of this battle, they show us a woman who appears to be a female soldier. Speculations are that this soldier might be the ancestor that Jess is interested in knowing about.

We can only say a little about the series from the trailer and the featurette. However, if one finds it interesting, one should watch this show!

The film follows a family of 3, Howard, Emily, and Sydney, who recently moved from Brooklyn into the small town called Bridge Hollow. Halloween has always been Sydney’s favorite time of the year. However, the same cannot be said about her father. Things turn wrong when Sydney accidentally lights up a cursed lantern and releases an ancient spirit. The situation worsens as the soul wreaks havoc across the town of Bridge Hollow. The soul makes all the Halloween decorations come back to life, including creepy creatures like zombies and witches. With the city haunted by these spirits, the father and daughter join hands to tackle the spirit together and undo its evildoings.

The Curse Of Bridge Hollow 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot and Trailer

The Curse Of Bridge Hollow 2 Release Date

There has been no announcement from the streaming platform Netflix regarding The Curse Of Bridge Hollow 2. The movie is yet to receive a green light from the production company. Like every other Netflix show, the audience’s reception of the series or movie matters when it comes to renewal. Unfortunately, things are not currently looking suitable for The Curse of Bridge Hollow. This may be because the film is tailored for a specific demographic, given that it is a family Halloween movie with high-spirit comedy. Critics have also not been very welcoming towards this movie, so there is a lot of uncertainty about whether there will be a sequel to it or not.

Considering its theme, though, if there is a sequel, it will probably release around next year’s Halloween. However, the makers could also switch things up and release a Christmas version of the horror comedy, expected to release around Christmas 2023.

What is the plot of the sequel?

Even though there is uncertainty about getting a renewal to the movie, it had an open-ended ending, giving way to a sequel. The end also made many hopeful as they expected a film revival.

When the father-daughter duo finally wrap up the curse plaguing their town, they accidentally knock down a wall in their attic. This seems suspicious, given that the movie was about to end. Their discovery that more trouble will wreak havoc over town also leaves the viewers curious. This leads them to wonder about the discovery and how the story will go forth. This discovery, of course, opens up a gateway for a sequel to the movie. Now what that discovery may be, we have yet to learn. However, whatever it is will surely be a joyful ride and adventure for the viewers as they watch the duo come together to take on and defeat evil spirits.

The cast of the sequel of the movie

The cast has received a lot of positive feedback for the show, and rightfully so. The comedy film has gained much following due to its fantastic cast. The star-studded lineup can be expected to return for the sequel too. Some of these cast members are:

    • Marlon Wayans as Howard Gordon
    • Priah Ferguson as Sydney Gordon
    • Kelly Rowland as Emily Gordon
    • John Michael Higgins as Principal Floyd
    • Lauren Lapkus as Mayor Tammy Rice
    • Rob Riggle as Sully
    • Nia Vardalos as Madam Hawthorne
    • Abi Monterey as Ramona
    • Holly J. Barrett as Jamie
    • Myles Vincent Perez as Mario
    • Helen Slayton-Hughes as Victoria

Is there a trailer for the sequel?

Currently, The Curse Of Bridge Hollow 2 has no trailer, and there won’t be one for a long time. The reason for this is the uncertainty around the renewal of the movie and its release date. However, fans and viewers can rewatch the first movie on Netflix if they want to enjoy a fun movie night with their family or friends. It is also a fun movie to tune in to if one wants to spend a lazy night in bed watching movies.

The Peripheral Season 2 Potential Release Date: Everything We Know So Far

Ever since the first season ended, fans have been looking forward to and inquiring about The Peripheral Season 2. The science-fiction show, with its intense storyline, has completely enamored the fans. It is based on a book of the same name by William Gibson. It features Flynne Fisher as she travels into the future, which showcases a completely different world. This new world introduces her to a new alternate universe that is much darker and more villainous.

The Peripheral Season 2 Release Date

There has been no official announcement from the production company Amazon when The Peripheral Season 2 is going to be released. However, both the show’s creators and cast have expressed their absolute willingness for an addition of a second season to the series.

Joy even stated: “I would love to have season two and season three and all the seasons in the world to explore this amazing, amazing novel. I know we’ve already started brainstorming about season two in the hopes that we get a season two, and the world only gets more vast and complicated.”

    Expected Plot And Speculations

It is obvious that when the second season airs, Burton will not be happy when he uncovers the truth about the death of Flynne. There have been suspicions that the Met Police is behind Flynne’s death. However, it will not take long before it is revealed that Conner is the killer.

There is also no guarantee that Flynne’s attempt to stop the Jackpot worked. Even though she was successful in stopping Cherise from destroying the data that had been implanted in her mind, which is to say the threat of impending doom has been avoided completely?

There are speculations that Cherise may still be adamant about deleting all that data from Flynne’s mind. Cherise also has other hands full right now with trying to hunt down the new timeline version of Flynne. This new version has remains of data from the original Flynne’s DNA. Flynne’s partnership with inspector Ainsley might be useful. This means Flynne may be better protected from Cherise and her unmatched desire to wipe out the data.

It is also going to get confusing from here onwards as there will now be two versions of everyone: Flynne, Burton, Conner, and Tommy. Especially with the two groups of versions under very different circumstances, things are going to get a lot more hectic.

These versions might now also have to deal with Lev as he finish all of them off to protect himself.

Tommy believes that he has killed off Pickett to save his groupmates, Flynne and Burton. However, we get to know that Pickett is indeed not dead. Now, this, of course, creates more problems and dilemmas for Tommy. This means Tommy has only two options; to let Pickett live or to murder him.

Furthermore, Tommy is not the only one who will be drowning in guilt in the new season. As Jasper drugs all the men out of vengeance and leaves them to die, he soon comes to regret this. However, what has happened cannot be changed, and he will now have to deal with the consequences of his actions.

With Aelita’s return, Wilf now also learns how most of his memories of the past have been suppressed because of the implant. These memories contain secrets about important events, such as the massacre of millions by Klept, including his own family. Furthermore, now the duo, too, is after Flynne’s implant, as it contains important pieces of information that can help them bring Klept down.

    The Peripheral Season 2 Cast

The cast of the show has managed to completely capture the hearts of the viewers, and there is a good chance almost all of them will be returning to the audience’s screens for a second season. Some of this cast includes:

    • Chloë Grace Moretz as Flynne Fisher
    • Gary Carr as Wilf Netherton
    • Jack Reynor as Burton Fisher
    • JJ Feild as Lev Zubov
    • T’Nia Miller as Cherise Nuland
    • Louis Herthum as Corbell Pickett
    • Katie Leung as Ash
    • Melinda Page Hamilton as Ella Fisher
    • Chris Coy as Jasper Baker
    • Alex Hernandez as Tommy Constantine
    • Eli Goree as Conner Penske
    • Charlotte Riley as Aelita West
    • Alexandra Billings as Inspector Ainsley Lowbeer

    The Peripheral Season 2 Trailer

The second season of The Peripheral does not have a trailer so far. However, this is not shocking because the first season just ended. Moreover, with so much going on, fans also need time to digest whatever has happened in the series till now.

In the tenth episode, we see Team Z regain their form and score a third goal to come to a tie against Team V. Both teams are under immense pressure to perform their best. As soon as Team Z scores the third goal, Nagi, in his rigor to prove his worth, scores a goal for Team V leading to the score of 4-3, with his team in the lead. With the support of Raichi, Team Z also tries their absolute best to win and score a goal, leading them to achieve their fourth goal too.

With very little time remaining in the match now, both the teams are now pushed to their limits as they know whichever team scores next will take home the win. Additionally, because of the foul committed by Kuon to get his team another fighting chance, Team V receives a free kick. However, it fails to land them a goal. As the episode nears its end, we see the ball is now in possession of Isagi, and the fate of his whole team depends on this goal.
