The Expanse A Telltale Series: Trailer

Based on the television show of the same name, The Expanse A Telltale Series is a prequel series that sees players take on the role of Camina Drummer (with actress Cara Gee reprising her role). Along with her band of scavengers, she searches the outskirts of The Belt for an enigmatic treasure. Telltale claims that because it is a prequel, it is the ideal place for individuals who are new to The Expanse to begin. It also serves as a wonderful introduction for newcomers to the cosmos.

The series will see players take on tough decisions. Thus, they navigate a mix of unique characters with their personalities and attempt to diffuse tense situations, in true Telltale Games fashion. The studio says the game is set to be their largest, most immersive, and explorable to date.

The Expanse has always been about tough choices – it’s a theme of the futuristic universe. Earth and Mars are on the precipice of war after colonization of the solar system divides humanity rather than uniting it. That makes this fertile ground for a collaboration between Deck Nine and Telltale.

Game Features

The Expanse introduces several new gameplay elements that go beyond what people experienced with past Telltale games. The Expanse A Telltale Series has the following added features:

Players have more control throughout events. The player’s exploration is kept going forward at the same time as the plot and dialogue choices. All of those character interactions have an impact on the story’s resolution. The player has the option to talk with the crew by radio at any time.

The setting and gameplay of the game heavily rely on gravity. Players will utilize mag boots to traverse walls and ceilings while exploring shipwrecks outside The Belt. To float through the void, it will use Zero-G thrusters. Players can interact with items in the outside world. They will have conversations with crew members as they travel through different parts of ships. As they navigate, these dialogue options will be played. They gain knowledge about the world and their shipmates as a result.

When The Expanse A Telltale Series debuts, it will represent the comeback of a company that was once the hottest team in the business before quickly disappearing from the discourse. Players still want more story experiences and frequently reflect on TellTale’s stellar beginnings despite this.
