The release date for the second part of the second season of “The Ancient Magus Bride” has been set for October 5, 2023. The series is once again going to be available to stream on a variety of networks in Japan, including the online streaming service Amazon Prime Video. The series will be made available for viewing throughout the world via Crunchyroll for people who are located outside of Japan.
When will the Ancient Magus be available?
On October 5, 2023, the second part of the second season of The Ancient Magus’ Bride will have its world premiere and a fresh new teaser trailer has just been released (which you can see down below).
Renewals of modern anime often depend on two primary factors: the accessibility of source material from an original light book or manga series, and the success of the franchise as a whole. To our great relief, The Ancient Magus’ Bride provides plenty of both.
It is planned that the ‘A Small Leak Shall Sink a Great Ship II’ conclusion for season 2 episode 12 will adapt the original manga series by Kore Yamazaki up through chapter 70, which was the final chapter of Volume 14.
The good news is that as of the time that this article is being written, a total of 95 chapters spread across 19 Tankobon manga volumes have been published in Japan. This indicates that there was sufficient source material available for another broadcast season from the very beginning.
After the premiere of the first season of the show in 2017, the ratings were strong enough for the production business Wit Studio to hand over the reins of the show’s production to a new company, Studio Kafka, who immediately began work on another epic storyline.

The plot of The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Part 2
Since the Ancient Magus’ Bride anime is based on the original manga, there isn’t a whole lot that we need to know in order to break down the story for the upcoming second part of the second season of the TV series.
The second portion of the second season will begin with an adaptation of the fifteenth volume of the original manga series, which was published in Japan for the first time in March 2021.
The following is what the synopsis for volume 15 says:
“As the College continues its fruitless search for The Testament of Carnamagos, the threat has become so severe that the Vice-Chancellor has made the executive decision to place the College under lockdown until the holiday break.” Chise and her classmates learn more about one another as a result of going through the same difficult experience. Everyone starts to evolve as a result of the things that happen to them in the Abandoned Hall, regardless of whether or not they want to. While some start to move further apart, some people get even closer.
